the power of prayer

I continue to see more and more how God has given us the power of prayer. it is the most powerful thing, or should I say the strongest force we have with us while we are here on earth. I know I don't know as much as some people do about the bible. I am trying to learn more and more everyday. God put me through different tests and trials. I am learning more and more that I can not win them on my own. God is there for me. and I need to take advantage of prayer. let God lead me and bring be through the trials he puts in front of me.

I have started to pray more and more everyday. its seems the more I pray, the bigger some of the battles become. I ask God to bring me through the trials so I can help others in the same situation.

God has opened doors for me. and he has put this on my heart that if I can pray for others who need it, and help change their life's, It will also change mine, and build my faith.

I had a really special moment last week. our Dogs got out. ran off and we didn't know it until about an hour later. we searched for over an hour looking for them. we asked the police and dog pound to keep an eye out.

I decided to walk down by the river, I took a bike path. I started to pray. asking God to show me the power of prayer. I dump truck with city workers came by and said they were also looking for them. they went in front of me. I continued to pray. God show me how power prayer can be. I asked that God just walk the dogs up to me so I could take them home. I walked a little more and started to get tired. so I found a bench and decided to take a break. I was resting and talking with God. the next thing I know. the dogs came out of the ditch area and walked right up to me. it blew my mind. God was talking to me. he showed me with this little miracle, how powerful prayer can be.

I know it seems like such a small situation. but in my heart I know I would never have found those dogs unless God did it for me.
